Faculty Development Core
Supporting the career development of historically disadvantaged and underrepresented minority (URM) faculty in STEM fields maximizes the success and retention of such faculty, diversifies the biomedical workforce, and fuels scientific discovery and innovation. The main goal of the Faculty Development core is to support and manage faculty development activities for the University of New Mexico (UNM) FIRST cohort program and institutionalize these practices so that UNM becomes an inclusive environment for all faculty.
We will be adding more to this page once we have our new faculty members so stay tuned!
Below are some of the guiding literature to strength our university and expand our committment to inclusive exellence.
